Mental Vacation has a new ranking system in place. The new ranks are as follows:

GM-Goddess

Advisor: This rank is responsible for taking care of the guild when the GM isn't around. The guild should be able to function normally as if the GM is always there. Their responsibilities include taking care of the bank, promoting members, voting on new systems and schedules and helping the Raid Manager get all raids up and running. They will also be in charge of setting up new member requirements and guild rules as well as enforcing both.

Raid Manager: Self explanatory :)

Class Lead: Each class has a specialty officer that is in charge of members of their class (promotions, questions, recruiting). We have class leads, who give class orders in raids and various other tasks. They must have extensive knowledge about their classes talent builds and should know what spec is best for highest raid dps output.

VIP: These are MV's finest members, they have been with us from the start and are loyal to the guild. These members go above and beyond the requirements of lower ranked members. These may also be MV's prior officers that are taking a break from the game.

Legend: This rank is reserved for members of MV that are in full or near full heroic raiding gear. Members are asked to make a 5g donation to the guild bank weekly to help cover the cost of repairs. They will be required to help stock raid items such as meat/fish for raid food and herbs for flasks.

Raider: This is the regular, non-heroic raiding rank. You must be geared for raiding before you are placed in this rank. Members are asked to make a 5g donation to the guild bank weekly to help cover the cost of repairs. They will be required to help stock raid items such as meat/fish for raid food and herbs for flasks.

Senior Member: These are our level 75+ members gearing up to raid, but arent quite there yet. They may also be members that want to raid, but cannot make our raiding schedule all of the time.

Social Member: These are MV's casual members, those not really interested in raiding. This rank is also reserved for alts and players under level 75.

Under Sedation: New MV recruits are placed here until they have been monitored for some time. They do not have guild bank access. They must register on the website in order to move up into a higher rank. All players under level 20 will be kept in this rank. All members that have been absent for 30 days will be placed in under sedation and will be removed from the guild after 2 months of not playing.

About Mental Vacation:
Mental Vacation is a social leveling guild with hopes of becoming a casual raiding guild in the future. We accept all ages, but closely monitor maturity. We are not looking for whiners, bank abusers, beggars, or anyone that is lacking a sense of humor. We are not looking to be the biggest/baddest guild on the server.  We are very focused on getting all new players leveled. We will be making daily instance runs for our low levels members.

Mental Vacation is a casual guild, we understand that everyone does have a life outside of WOW /gasp!

As a Guild Leader it is important to me that all my guild members enjoy the game to the fullest. I am not an expert at WOW content and don't claim to be. I am learning the game on a daily basis and am always open suggestions.

Guild rules:
All new members will start out as Trial Member regardless of level. You will remain a Trial Member for 2 weeks or until you register on the guild website mentalvacation.wowstead.com. Please remember that everyone in the guild has a real life (yes, even the guild leader) and someone might not always be there to help you out, run you through an instance or answer your questions. If you have an issue with a fellow guild member please talk the guild leader about it before you spam guild chat with insults. Anyone caught doing this will be put in probation and will be banned from using the guild chat until they have calmed down. We do not tolerate immaturity in any way, we are all here to enjoy the game. I don't tolerate excessive swearing or vulgar language in my guild chat. If you insist on having these types of conversations please go to barrens chat where it is more welcome. Anyone making offensive comments about race, religion, sex, age, etc. will be removed from the guild.


Guild bank rules
All members are allowed to look at the bank tabs. If there is something in the bank that you would like to have please ask the guild leader or assistant guild leader. Loot from instances will always be put on group loot. The guild leader may require items be put in the guild bank for DE or for other players that might need the item. Please dont pollute the guild bank with grey or white items that cannot be used. White items used in any of the professions may be stored in the bank, but if it becomes too full those items will be sold on AH and all profit will go directly to the guild bank. Green weapons and armor will be DE or sold on AH after one week. If i notice that you are taking too much from the guild bank without contributing you will have all bank privelages taken away.
